With all the pet friendly places in Downtown Dartmouth - great photo ops are everywhere!  Stroll the waterfront, visit our parks, enjoy our patios, browse our shops, and take lots of pictures!

Upload your great shots to our ONLINE PHOTO CONTEST| EVENT PAGE on FB|and tag them with #dogdaysofdartmouth from June 17 -24.

The pooch with the most likes at the end of the week wins an amazing doggy basket - full of toys, treats, and dog swag!

TENNIS BALL SCAVENGER HUNT

There's nothing better than a tennis ball when you're a dog. Except - a ton of tennis balls! Throw an adventurous walk in there and you've basically got THE BEST DAY EVER in doggy eyes. Give your pup a great day and come out for a tennis ball scavenger hunt!

Solve riddles and sniff out tennis balls during Downtown Dartmouth's first four legged scavenger hunt. Hundreds of tennis will be hidden throughout Downtown Dartmouth Thursday night June 15.

 

It's $5 to enter each participating dog.  Sign up station is at Kings Wharf on Alderney Dr (there will be a TON of signs pointing you to the sign up booth.

 

You and your dog will get your riddles and the hunt begins!

 

Volunteers  will be all around the Downtown to help you with clues.  You'll also find great vendors having sidewalk sales of gourmet treats!

 

Bring your dogs on down and find as many tennis balls as you can!

BARKS IN THE PARK

Join us June 23rd 3pm - 7pm at the Park Avenue Community Oven in beautiful Dillman Park corner of Park Avenue and King St, Downtown Dartmouth.

 

New this year, Barks in the Park is a dog friendly day at the Park Oven filled with awesome dog activities, food, music (but not too loud) and lots of FURRY FUN. There will be a doggy art project, special dog treats, food (for the humans) and so much more.

 

Entry to this event is "By Donation" with proceeds going to the SPCA.
